1909-11 T206 Sherry Magee MAGIE ERROR PSA 3 VG (PWCC-E) Sep 12 Written By Travis Huff Key pre-war rarity! Although Honus Wagner and Eddie Plank are the most recognizable scarcities from the popular issue, the Magie error is a very close follower and is considered apart of the 'big three'. This card is exceedingly elusive with maybe one of two copies surfacing on the public market per year. The offered PSA 3 easily represents the finest copy we've had the pleasure of brokering in recent memory and ranks among the hobby's most attractive all-around copies. They don't get much better than this for the assigned grade! Virtually dead centered with perhaps only a one or two point left to right shift present. The borders are clean, the edges are void of chipping and the corners are uniformly VG. Modest toning on the reverse and some extremely light front surface cracking is all that prevents a higher grade. Magee was an excellent major leaguer having finished his 16 year career with a .291 batting average and 1,176 RBI during the dead ball era. We absolutely love this card and feel that it remains criminally under valued. A sensational investment piece which is sure to bring a ton of attention on the public auction block. Please see the video highlight for more details on this pre-war offering. One of over 21,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 8th Auction of 2020.
